[Kuukaku stands at the window in one of the tea rooms, looking out as the daylight wanes outside. She would never admit it aloud but this event unnerved her a bit. The screams didn't particularly help either so against her better judgment when the nighttime activities start again, she'll just... take a walk. Not looking for the source of the noise or anything. To shut it up for good. ...Or anything.]

[Ganta's been wandering around the mansion, trying to find a place that feels safe. Every time he thinks he's found one, though, he gets freaked out by the screaming and has to keep moving.

So when he runs into Kuukaku, he's freaked out and on a hair trigger. He doesn't register that she's not an enemy--she looks a lot like Prison Chief Makina, from home in this light, actually--and his hand whips up, blood pooling in his palm.

Without thinking he shoots three blood bullets at her in quick succession.]

[Unaware for a moment that she was being attacked, Kuukaku jerks a bit from the first blood bullet hitting her and hisses in pain through his teeth as moves to barely avoid the next two.]

S-stay there! [Ganta's too scared right now to apologize. If he even realizes his attack was unprovoked. Long ribbons of blood swirl around his arm as he prepares to attack again.]

[He doesn't really register anything but the fact that OH GOD MAKINA-LOOK-ALIKE IS YELLING AT HIMMMM and shoots again, aiming for her abdomen and hoping to put her out of commission so he can run away.]

[ooc: Haha, well, idk if you got the message about his bullets, but for the record, when he fights normal humans, the impact can shatter bones.]

[Cursing and not wanting to be hit again from one of those blood bullets, one semi-weakened--due to wounded shoulder on her good side--fire kido pillar attack is ready to counter it. Hopefully it will deter Ganta enough to stop attacking her for no reason but she thinks that may be unlikely.]

[Ganta retreats, but shoots at the fire attack, hoping to divert it somehow. He has no idea how that kind of thing works but oh god it is scary /sob.

And depending on if the bullets can get through the fire, Kuukaku might get hit again, since he fired several.]

[Kuukaku points a finger in Ganta's direction, a small white ball of light appearing before it gets larger and thrusts forward to push the numerous blood bullets. The low level kido was not really meant for multiple targets so a few are missed from the destructive demon art and one hits her wooden arm, shattering it, and another strikes her knee when she's jerking away from her prosthetic arm being damaged.]

[She grits her teeth hard, hissing through them in pain but refuses to let herself drop from her badly wounded knee. Needless to say she's extremely pissed off now from the shorter one attacking her for no reason at all, event or not.]
